DELIVERY POLICY

HH Distributing Company Ltd. and its subsidiary Companies in Nova Scotia are committed to superior delivery service. 

Delivery Service:  Typical delivery includes “CURBSIDE” service.  This service includes delivery to the curb, off the back of the truck at all residential locations in metro.  This service DOES NOT INCLUDE the off-loading inside the residential home, transporting the product upstairs, unpacking or installing the product(s).

• Delivery, Acceptance and Inspection:

Ideally, we would prefer our customers be available for their deliveries to personally inspect the products delivered.  If this is not possible, there must be a responsible adult (at least 18 years of age) present.  Drivers of Happy Harry’s cannot deliver the product if someone 18 years or older is not at home at the time of delivery.  Drivers cannot handle product(s) that are not listed on the delivery documents.

If for some reason, you should miss your scheduled delivery, a new date will need to be arranged, and additional delivery fees may be assessed.

YOU MUST INSPECT YOUR ORDER UPON ARRIVAL AND NOTIFY THE STORE OF ANY DAMAGE INCURRED DURING SHIPPING, AS WELL AS ANY DEFECTS IN MANUFACTURING THAT CAN BE OBSERVED UPON REASONABLE INSPECTION. NOTE ANY PROBLEMS IN WRITING ON THE COPY OF THE INVOICE THE DRIVER WILL HAVE WITH HIM THAT YOU ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN.  UNLESS AN ISSUE IS NOTED IN THIS WAY, YOU WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THE GOODS IN THE CONDITION DELIVERED.
